For breeders
A website built for serious breeders.
Outcrossed Geckos builds and manages custom breeder websites that bring your animals, projects, pedigrees, and customers into one thoughtful home. We specialize in leopard geckos, and we are open to building for other reptiles too.
Why have a breeder website?
Make the work behind your animals visible.
A professional home base
Give your breeding program a clear, credible place to live instead of sending every buyer to a social feed or a message thread.
Waitlist and inquiries built in
Let interested buyers tell you what they are looking for, then keep inquiries and waitlist requests organized in one owner view.
Animals people can actually evaluate
Publish available animals with photos, prices, sex, age, morph traits, bloodlines, and descriptions that give serious buyers useful context.
Pedigrees worth sharing
Show the family behind an animal with a full pedigree tree, including parent relationships and the genetics recorded at each generation.
Be found by serious buyers
A focused storefront makes your projects easier to discover and gives people a straightforward path from seeing an animal to making an inquiry.
Owner Mode
The records behind the storefront.
The public site is only one part of the system. Owner Mode gives you a practical place to manage the details that make a breeding program trustworthy and repeatable.
01
Animal profiles
Build a record for every animal with a name, tub label, sex, status, hatch and acquisition dates, source, project group, enclosure, feeding interval, price, notes, photos, and storefront visibility. Link the sire and dam, record single-gene morphs with zygosity and possible-het odds, and track line-bred projects or localities as bloodline percentages. Pedigree-only animals can be included without being part of your collection.
02
Weight logging with charts
Log weight in grams by date with an optional note such as pre-feed. Once an animal has multiple entries, Owner Mode plots the trend over time and keeps the dated history available for review or correction.
03
Feeding logs
Record the date, feeder type, quantity, supplement, and notes for every feeding. Mark refused food explicitly, then scan the history to see what each animal has eaten and how it responded.
04
Shed tracking
Keep a dated shed history with quality marked as complete, stuck, or assisted. Notes let you preserve practical details such as clean toes or clear eyes alongside the record.
05
Interactive pedigree tree
Trace an animal's family up to four generations in a zoomable, pannable tree. Parent connections are visual, males and females are color-coded, traits and bloodlines are summarized on each node, and clicking a node opens that animal record.
06
Pairing records and clutch tracking
Record a male and female pairing by season, status, introduction and separation dates, locks observed, breeding goal, and notes. Add clutches with laid date, egg count, fertile count, incubation temperature, due date, and notes, then link them back to the pairing.
07
Fertility chart
With two or more clutches recorded, compare fertility over time in a simple chart showing fertile eggs as a percentage of total eggs per clutch, with the female and clutch date available in the detail view.
08
Morph probability calculator
Choose a male and female from your collection to calculate offspring possibilities from their recorded single-gene genetics. It handles recessive, incomplete-dominant, and dominant inheritance, combines results across genes, and displays probabilities for visual, super, het, and normal outcomes. Polygenic traits and possible-het animals are intentionally excluded rather than presented as false precision.
09
Project-based finances
Organize costs and sales around breeding projects instead of one undifferentiated ledger. Assign animals, enter dated costs and sales, and see total costs, income, and profit or loss. Animal costs are included, with male costs allocated by the share of their pairings connected to the project.
10
Customer storefront
Publish a public breeder profile with your name, tagline, project story, animal information, care and guarantee details, available-animal cards, prices, photos, genetics, bloodlines, age, and individual animal pages. Buyers can review photo galleries and listing details before sending an inquiry, while animals you keep private stay out of the storefront.
11
Inquiry and waitlist management
Receive inquiries tied to a specific animal with the buyer's name, email, and message. Manage statuses from new to replied and closed, then reply by email from the owner view. Waitlist entries capture what a buyer wants and move through waiting, offered, fulfilled, or cancelled so follow-up does not disappear into your inbox.
Pricing and terms
A conversation, not a package deal.
Every breeder situation is different, so projects are discussed and negotiated individually. Store credit, trades, and other arrangements can all be considered. Reach out and tell us what you are building.
